GOCM Tijuana School Support Program 2020
The Grace of Calvary Ministries Tijuana School Program had to change quickly this year. The government decided on September 15th that no kids would return to school until August 2021! Wow! On-line learning is extremely difficult in an area where most families do not have internet or computers in the home. Most that I have talked to are trying to do their school work by way of the application,, WhatsApp, on their mother’s cell phone. Can you imagine having five kids doing their homework on your cell phone? Many people do not even have the needed internet service to do this and kids are falling even more behind! By God’s grace, we now have three (click link) HOMEWORK CLUBS helping 50 kids get caught up! We also offer internet use for students for free, three days per week and have been able to lend old Iphones and Ipads to some students to work from home.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
If you would like to help bess the 10 people who are tutoring the kids or provide for their supplies, please send a gift of any amount. Please pray for the 50 kids enrolled in the program and the tutors, 4 of which are 15 years old. Praise God!
Also, we accept tablets, iphones, laptops, etc. for use in the program.

Please help us to grow godly leaders who know God and have a decent education! We are seeing kids we helped in 2007 graduate from high school! This year we had FOUR high school graduates and TWO Bible college graduates from our church! There is one young man in medical school and one studying criminology as well as another new Bible college student in 2021.

Through this Tijuana School Program and people like you:
2019 - 400 filled backpacks and 100+ students received uniforms and shoes
2018 - 300 filled backpacks were provided, 100+ students received uniforms and shoes. Two students were able to go to the Calvary Chapel Bible College in Ensenada with partial scholarships.

2017 - 400 filled backpacks were provided, 100 children received uniforms and black leather school shoes. Over 200 kids received tennis shoes donated by SKETCHERS shoes.

2016 - 450 filled backpacks were provided, 100 pairs of tennis shoes, school shoes and uniforms

2015 - 250 filled backpacks were provided, 100 pairs of school shoes and 100 children received help with school uniforms and fees

2013 & 2014 - 450 filled backpacks were provided, 200 pairs of school shoes and 45 children received help with school uniforms and high school tuition fees.
2012 - 400 filled backpacks were provided and 100 pairs of school shoes. 23 children received help with school uniforms and both orphanages again received a grant for all of their school expenses. God has truly blessed this project.
2011 - 300 backpacks were provided with school supplies at 6 different ministry locations. 39 children received full sponsorship and both orphanages received a grant for all of their school expenses. Praise God for His provision!
2010 - 410 backpacks were distributed in the colonias - filled with school supplies! More than 40 children in Tijuana and Rosarito received full sponsorship and we again received the grant to provide 65 kids in the orphanages with all of their school materials, uniforms and expenses.
2009 - 40 kids in the colonias received full sponsorship, we received a grant to help with 65 kids in the orphanages and 350 filled backpacks were distributed.
2008 - 60 kids were sponsored in the colonias and 70 kids at two orphanages. Over 270 filled backpacks were distributed to children.
2007 - 70 kids were sponsored and $3,000 was used to help two orphanages (70 more kids) with supplies, uniforms, tuition, and shoes
